Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Lodging and Amenities

Aspen Camp (AC) sits on 15 wooded acres nestled in Old Snowmass (20 min outside Aspen), which is an ideal location for hosting retreats, workshops, team building weekends, and AC programs. The main lodge is a great space for small or large groups to commune for meals or talks. AC hosts deaf awareness and American Sign Language courses in this building as well.

Lodge

The overall lodging facilities accommodate almost 100 comfortably for overnight excursions. Between the two bunkhouses, a yurt, and multiple bunkrooms there are plenty beds for everyone.

Two rustic bunkhouses sleep 16 each and have indoor bathrooms. There are also five other bunkrooms with another 30 beds some with private bathrooms, and all have access to the showers.

For a truly unique experience, sleep up to 12 in our beautiful yurt. A yurt is a heavy-duty canvass tarp wrapped securely around wood beams, then set on a cement foundation. With several of Alf’s Rugs covering the floor, the yurt is a warm and cozy space.

There are self-guided nature trails along Snowmass Creek and even a teepee village. AC tailors the service offering to best suit the needs of your organization, which may include group meals, BBQ’s, fireside chats, team building, ropes challenge course, outings, transportation, and much more. Allow AC to take care of your group needs as you relax in the splendor found only in our neck of the Rockies.

The large Outdoor Pavilion is great for dances, strategic meetings, and BBQ’s!
