Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Ropes Challenge Course

Aspen Camp (AC) is home to the best high and low ropes challenge course in the valley. In addition, for the first time in the history of the camp, we are making this extraordinary experience available to everyone. Do not miss it!

AC incorporated experiential learning techniques in designing the program for the ropes challenge course. This approach maximizes the fun for participants while facing individual challenges and reinforcing positive group dynamics.

The best high and low ropes challenge course!

           Learn strategies to build teamwork
             Improve group communication
                Increase self-confidence
                   Strengthen your group
                      Create fun and excitement
                         Provide personal challenges

The AC ropes program is unique and exciting!

The breathtaking beauty of Old Snowmass surrounds the ropes challenge course. The various components of the course wind through lush Aspen and Spruce trees and over the rapidly flowing Snowmass Creek.

Our well-trained ropes staff is a mix of deaf and hearing people, so participants have a unique opportunity to learn about deaf culture as well as a bit of sign language.

The ropes program may accommodate groups as small as four and as large as forty, at one time.

Both one-day programs and overnight experiences are available.

Appropriate for all types of groups from day camp activities to company retreats, let an AC Program Coordinator integrate the ropes challenge course into the perfect program to meet your needs.
