We’ve changed a lot over the years, including our logo. We’ve realized that the changes of the logo has disconnected from the heart of what we do. Our alumni yearn for the nostalgia of their hey days at Aspen Camp. We also discovered that the camp is strongly associated with mountains and adventure.
We decided to go back to our heart, our original logo.
The Deaf Community* feels that the “I Love You” handshape is outdated. So we got rid of that. That left us with a logo that was too plain and well… Microsoft Clip Art-y.
We did some work and here is our new logo! You can see an abstract “A” on the bigger mountain and the “C” on the sun/moon (depending on how you want to see it). The mountain and the sun/moon evokes a sense of adventure.
