Marketing & Strategic Director
When I was thirteen, I watched “What Women Wants” from Mel Gibson and knew without a doubt that his job was exactly what I wanted to do. I’ve always been a sucker for aesthetics and efficiency. It was serendipity when Aspen Camp needed a marketing manager, especially since I attended summer camp for 8 years.
I’m lucky to have a job where I “play” every day. And it’s even better knowing that I make a difference. Seeing the campers and staff bond over Deafhood is incredibly inspiring. It’s wonderful to know that I’m part of a unique culture that has so much to give to the world.
When I’m not working on a project, I enjoy yoga, stargazing, SUPing under the full moon, playing with my silly Pomeranian, and diving in philosophical discussions with a diverse group of people.

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.
